Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, made commitments totaling $62 million to two alternative investment funds in November, a transaction report showed.
Investment officers at the $29 billion fund committed $50 million to a real estate co-investment and $12 million to a private equity co-investment.
Fund officials do not disclose the identities of its co-investment managers.
As of Nov. 30, Texas Employees committed a total of $285 million to private equity funds and co-investments and earmarked a total of $536 million to 10 real estate funds and co-investments, transaction reports showed.
