North Attleboro (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is conducting a search for a small-cap core equities manager to run $13 million for the $115 million defined benefit plan.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant to the retirement system, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted to comply with Massachusetts state law requiring contracts go out to bid every few years, said Steven Roth, chief investment officer at Dahab Associates. Atlanta Capital Management is the incumbent manager and is welcome to rebid.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at noon EST Jan. 30. A timetable for selecting a manager has not yet been set.
Debra A. Bush, executive director of the pension fund, referred questions to Dahab Associates.
