Worcester (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a non-core private market global infrastructure manager to run between $10 million and $15 million for the $847 million defined benefit plan.
Respondents must have been in operation for at least three years and have at least $500 million in equity capital invested in core and non-core global infrastructure strategies to be considered. First-time funds, public equity and sector-specific strategies will not be considered.
Meketa Investment Group, the pension fund's investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
The RFP is scheduled to be available on Meketa's website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EST on Jan. 8. A selection date was not disclosed.
