Stephanie D. Neely joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management as managing director and head of the central U.S. and Canada region for North America institutional, a spokesman confirmed in an email.
Ms. Neely replaced Amanda Wilson who left in September to join Principal Global Investors, where she is now managing director and head of U.S. institutional sales and relationship management.
Ms. Neely, who is based in Chicago, is responsible for overseeing institutional strategy, sales and client services and her region's team of client-facing professionals, the spokesman said. She will report to James Peagam, head of North America institutional and global insurance solutions.
Ms. Neely previously was the acting vice president and assistant treasurer of Allstate Insurance, a JPMAM new release said. Allstate did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Prior to her time at Allstate, Ms. Neely served two terms as treasurer for the city of Chicago.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management had $1.8 trillion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, which includes $945 billion in institutional AUM, the spokesman said.
