Christian Sinding was named managing partner and CEO of Swedish private equity firm EQT Partners, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Sinding, currently a deputy managing partner and head of EQT's equity business, will replace Thomas von Koch on Jan. 1. Mr. Von Koch will become deputy managing partner and chairman of funds EQT Ventures, EQT Mid Market Asia and EQT Public Value.
"(Mr. Sinding) is one of our most experienced partners, a strong promoter of EQT's culture and values as well as an inspiring and business-oriented leader. He was a natural choice, an excellent successor to (Mr. Von Koch) and will secure continuity of EQT's growth, our transformation and strategy, and our long-term vision," Conni Jonsson, founder and chairman of EQT said in a news release.
EQT has €50 billion ($56 billion) in raised capital.
