Milwaukee City Employes' Retirement System committed $20 million to Abbott Capital Management's AP 2019 private equity fund of funds, said David M. Silber, chief investment officer, in an email.
The $5.4 billion pension fund has committed to eight previous Abbott Capital funds of funds, most recently committing $20 million to AP2018.
As of June 30, the retirement system's allocation to private equity was 6.3%.
