Laurent Galzy was named CEO of Etablissement de Retraite Additionnelle de la Fonction Publique, Paris, a spokeswoman at the €30 billion ($34 billion) pension fund said Friday.
Mr. Galzy will start Dec. 1 and has a four-year contract. He replaces Philippe Desfosses, who left in November.
Mr. Galzy previously worked as a general controller for the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
Mr. Desfosses, who had been CEO since June 2008, could not be reached to comment about his next appointment.
