Milwaukee County Deferred Compensation Plan is rehiring Empower Retirement as record keeper, subject to contract negotiations and approval, said Stephen Cady, chairman of the county's select committee on deferred compensation, in an email.
The $362 million 457 plan issued an RFP in August because Empower's contract will expire March 31, 2019. The committee approved an intent to award at its Nov. 13 meeting.
The plan has 12 investment options and a target-date fund lineup managed by Vanguard Group.
Investment consultant RVK is assisting.
