Norwich (Conn.) Employees' Retirement Fund is searching for an investment consultant for its $178 million pension plan.
Hooker & Holcombe is assisting with the search; the firm will not be submitting a bid, the RFP said.
The city is seeking proposals because it hasn't issued a search for these services since 2009, said William R. Hathaway, the city's purchasing agent. UBS Institutional Consulting is the incumbent and is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the city's website. (Registration required.) Proposals are due 2 p.m. EST Jan. 4. A selection is expected to be made Feb. 22.
