Luxembourg pension fund taps 6 managers for €1.05 billion in green equities, bonds

Fonds de Compensation Commun au Regime General de Pension, Luxembourg, hired six active managers to run a total of €1.05 billion ($1.2 billion) in equity and bond portfolios with an environmental focus, said a spokesman for the €17.1 billion reserve fund.

Robeco Institutional Asset Management and AQR Capital Management (Europe) will run the total of €750 million in global equities with a sustainable approach.

BNP Paribas Asset Management will run €200 million in a global equities sustainable impact portfolio. Mirova was hired to be a standby manager for this allocation.

Allianz Global Investors France was selected to run a €100 million active green euro-denominated bonds portfolio. In addition, NN Investment Partners was selected for the allocation on a standby basis.

A funding source could not be learned. RFPs were issued in February.
