University of Oregon taps Callan as consultant for 2 DC plans

University of Oregon, Eugene, hired Callan as investment consultant for Oregon Public Universities' $966 million 403(b) plan and $770 million 401(a) plan, said Gay Lynn Bath, director of the plans.

The university issued an RFP in August because the contract of incumbent consultant SageView Advisory Group was set to expire Sept. 30. Ms. Bath said the firm did rebid for the services but would not name the finalists, other than Callan.

The plans' record keepers are Fidelity Investments, TIAA-CREF and VALIC.
