Kentucky Retirement Systems, Frankfort is searching for a new chief investment officer, said David Eager, executive director.
The system, which has $12.3 billion in assets across its five pension funds, has issued an RFP for a personal services contract for a permanent replacement for David Peden, who left the system in January 2017.
Rich Robben, previously KRS' deputy CIO and director of fixed income, has been serving as interim CIO since Mr. Peden's departure.
The RFP is available on the state's purchasing website. Registration is required. Applications are due on Nov. 16. Mr. Eager said a decision date is dependent on the number and quality of the applicants.
