Sion Cole, senior partner and head of European distribution, delegated consulting services at Aon, has left the firm, Pensions & Investments has learned.
A spokesman for Aon declined to comment. Mr. Cole could not be reached for comment.
The delegated consulting unit offers full and partial fiduciary management, or outsourced CIO, services to clients with £5 million ($6.4 million) to £2 billion in assets.
The firm's website said Aon managed about €17 billion ($19.8 billion) in delegated consulting services assets on behalf of 182 clients, as of June 30. Globally it runs about €1.24 trillion for more than 473 clients, the website said.
Mr. Cole was appointed to his most recent role in 2016, as the consulting firm created an investment solutions division — a global platform for its delegated investment business. Prior to that he was partner and head of client solutions for delegated consulting.
The Aon spokesman declined to comment on a replacement for Mr. Cole.
