Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed a total of $110 million in October to three alternative investment strategies, a transaction report said.
The $28.3 billion pension fund committed $80 million to Riverside Capital Appreciation Fund VII, a middle-market buyout fund. The pension fund previously committed $42 million to Riverside Europe Fund V in February 2017.
ERS also made commitments to two co-investments: $20 million in private real estate and $10 million in private equity. Fund officials do not disclose the identities of its co-investment managers.
