University of New Hampshire boosts private equity

University System of New Hampshire, Concord, made two new private equity commitments totaling $10 million for its $522 million combined endowment pool, recently released finance committee on investments meeting minutes show.

The committee at its Oct. 25 meeting approved commitments of $5 million each to Greenspring Global Partners IX, a venture capital fund of funds managed by Greenspring Associates, and buyout fund Sun Capital Partners VII.

The system previously committed $4 million to Greenspring Global Partners VIII in 2017. Whether the system has made prior commitments to Sun Capital Partners could not be learned immediately.

Investment consultant Prime Buchholz assisted.
