New York State Office of the State Comptroller, Albany, is searching for a program manager for the state's Achieving a Better Life Experience plan.
The office of Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli has issued an RFP for a program manager to provide administrative, record keeping, investment management and other services. Mr. DiNapoli oversees the tax-free savings account for people with disabilities. The ABLE plan, which was signed into law in December 2015, had about $2.5 million in assets as of Oct. 5, the RFP said.
Whether there is a current program manager and whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available at Mr. DiNapoli's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EST on Jan. 10. A decision is tentatively scheduled to take place on March 25.
Matthew Sweeney, Mr. DiNapoli’s spokesman, said he could not provide further information while the RFP is “in its restricted period.”
