Mona Girotra was named global head of consultant relations within the business development and investor relations group of Varde Partners.
Ms. Girotra, whose position is new and based in New York, will focus on developing the firm's relationships with consultants and institutional advisers globally and work with institutional investors in the Americas. She will report to Ria Nova, managing director and head of Americas business development and investor relations, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Girotra was managing director in business development and investor relations at Highbridge Capital Management. A spokeswoman for Highbridge declined to comment.
Varde Partners is a global alternative investment firm with $14 billion in assets under management.
