Louis Gagnon was named president, U.S. and Canada region, at Mercer.
Mr. Gagnon, who remains a partner at Mercer, will replace Ken Haderer, who had been president, North America region, a Mercer spokeswoman said. The region was renamed to U.S. and Canada. Mr. Gagnon will report to Martine Ferland, group president.
Mr. Gagnon was CEO of Mercer (Canada); Jaqui Parchment, partner and Toronto office leader, will replace Mr. Gagnon and report to him.
Mr. Haderer was named executive vice president, global operations, at benefits management service provider Benefitfocus in July.
