Clermont, Fla., is searching for a record keeper for its 401(a) and 457 plans, said Kathryn Deen, city spokeswoman.
The city issued the RFP for a single record keeper to reduce overall fees and administrative costs. It is the first time the city has put the services up for bid.
The 457 plan's record keepers are Florida League of Cities (which is also the sole record keeper for the 401(a) plan) and ICMA-RC. Both record keepers are eligible to rebid. The plans have a combined $11 million in assets.
The RFP is available on the BidSync procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Dec. 13. A decision will be made sometime in the new year.
