University of Wisconsin System, Madison, is searching for an investment consultant to review the record keepers and investment options of its $2.6 billion 403(b) plan, said Ruth Ginzberg, senior procurement specialist, in an email.
The system issued the RFP for a consultant to provide a comprehensive review of the plan's five record keepers and their investment option lineups, and make recommendations about the appropriate number of record keepers, as well as any changes to the investment lineups. The record keepers are Ameriprise Financial, Fidelity Investments, Lincoln Financial Group, T. Rowe Price Group and TIAA-CREF.
The plan does not currently have an investment consultant, Ms. Ginzberg said. While this is on a project basis, she added "the resulting contract or contracts will allow for additional consulting services if requested."
The RFP is available on the system's procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CST on Nov. 29. A decision is tentatively scheduled for sometime in February.
