Vanderbilt University's endowment, Nashville, Tenn., returned a net 12.6% in the fiscal year ended June 30, said a financial report on the university's website.
The report did not provide benchmark information, return information for asset classes or long-term returns. The $4.6 billion endowment returned a net 11.5% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017.
As of June 30, the endowment had an asset allocation of 26% global equities, 25% private capital, 20% hedged strategies, 11% fixed income, 7% natural resources, 6% cash and cash equivalents, 3% commodities and 2% real estate.
University spokeswoman Princine Lewis referred questions to the financial report.
