Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, approved $660 million in investments, the $29.7 billion pension system announced.
The PennSERS board approved at its Wednesday board meeting, a commitment of up to $300 million to Oak Street Real Estate Capital Net Lease Property Fund.
In addition, the board agreed to invest $160 million in a CenterSquare Investment Management real estate investment trust account.
The PennSERS board also approved committing up to $100 million apiece to TSG 8, a middle-market buyout fund managed by TSG Consumer Partners; and to Apollo Hybrid Value Fund, a private equity and credit fund managed by Apollo Global Management.
The investments will be funded from cash, subject to successful contract negotiations.
