Louisiana Sheriffs' Pension & Relief Fund, Baton Rouge, committed $30 million to MetLife Real Estate Debt Fund, an open-end fund, said Osey "Skip" McGee Jr., executive director.
The $3.6 billion pension fund also made a follow-on commitment of $25 million to J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Special Situations Property Fund, an open-end real estate fund. The pension fund originally committed $30 million.
The pension fund's real estate allocation is 7%, Mr. McGee said.
