Kirsty Jenkinson will be joining the $229.2 billion California State Teachers' Retirement System as director of corporate governance, replacing Anne Sheehan, who retired in March, system spokesman Michael Sicilia said.
She will start with the West Sacramento-based pension fund on Jan. 7.
Ms. Jenkinson is managing director, sustainable investment strategies, at Wespath Investment Management, a division of Wespath Benefits and Investments, an agency of The United Methodist Church.
Wespath spokeswoman Lisa Drew said Ms. Jenkinson will be at Wespath until Nov. 15.
