Mark du Four joined alternative investment firm Crescent Capital Group as a managing director, said Bill Mendel, spokesman.
It is a new position. Mr. du Four's duties will include finding middle-market lending investment opportunities.
He previously was head of capital markets for NewStar Financial, a publicly traded business development company.
