Craig Stevenson was named consultant relations director at Kempen Capital Management, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Stevenson focuses on Kempen's institutional business in the U.K. and is responsible for distribution of fiduciary management through the firm's consultant channels.
Also, Alastair Greenlees was named senior investment strategist. The position is new. Mr. Greenlees focuses on institutional fiduciary clients. He will develop investment strategies for fiduciary clients and research innovative asset classes.
"We have created these two new roles to handle the demand for our client solutions and our plans to grow in the U.K. market. We already work closely with major investment consultants to help clients make use of our investment funds — and with (Mr. Stevenson) in the team look forward to taking this further. Equally, (Mr. Greenlees) will bring a depth of experience in working with asset owners that will further distinguish our approach to fiduciary management," said Johan Cras, managing director, in a news release.
Mr. Stevenson previously worked as head of institutional and consultant relations at Merian Global Investors, formerly Old Mutual Global Investors. Martin Visairas was named managing director, institutional in August and picked up Mr. Stevenson's responsibilities, a Merian spokeswoman said.
Mr. Greenlees was formerly senior investment consultant at Willis Towers Watson. A spokesman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
Kempen has €59.9 billion ($69 billion) in assets under management.
