San Mateo County Employees' Retirement Association, Redwood City, Calif., is looking for an actuarial consultant, said an announcement on the $4.3 billion pension fund's website.
Firms must have performed actuarial services for defined benefit pension plans with at least $2 billion in assets to be considered.
A copy of the RFP can be obtained by emailing Gladys Smith, assistant executive director. Proposals are due by noon PDT Oct. 22. A selection date was not disclosed.
Neither Ms. Smith nor Michael Coultrip, chief investment officer, could not be immediately reached for additional information.
