Paul Kamenski and Robert Lam were named new roles of co-heads of credit as part of Man Numeric's expansion into quantitatively managed fixed income.
Messrs. Kamenski and Lam will oversee the ongoing development and portfolio management of the firm's new credit strategies, confirmed Man Group spokeswoman Megan Ingersoll.
Mr. Kamenski had been senior quantitative researcher in Man Numeric's strategic alpha research group. Ms. Ingersoll said Mr. Kamenski will continue to lead the firm's fixed-income research; his other duties will be assumed by others in the research group.
Mr. Lam was a principal in Apollo Global Management's quantitative research and data science business. Charles Zehren, an Apollo spokesman, did not respond to an email seeking information about a replacement.
Man Numeric managed a total of $32.6 billion as of June 30. Ms. Ingersoll declined to say how much the business unit manages in fixed income.
