Douglas T. Breeden was named managing director, portfolio manager and director of securitized assets at Amundi Pioneer, confirmed spokeswoman Robin Schoen.
He replaces Dan Adler, who left the company.
Mr. Breeden, formerly a senior consultant to Amundi Pioneer, will join the portfolio management team dedicated to institutional mortgage-backed securities strategies and lead the U.S. securitized assets team. He will report to Ken Taubes, Amundi Pioneer chief investment officer.
Amundi Pioneer managed $87 billion in assets as of June 30.
