Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, Nashville, made two new commitments totaling $115 million, Shelli King, spokeswoman for state Treasurer David H. Lillard Jr., who oversees the pension fund, said in an email.
The $49.5 billion pension fund committed $65 million to value-added U.S. real estate fund Asana Partners II and $50 million to venture capital fund Foundation Capital IX.
As of June 30, the actual allocations to real estate and private equity were 8.3% and 5% respectively.
