Beaver County (Pa.) Employees' Retirement Fund was subpoenaed by the SEC for documents related to an investigation into asset manager Vescio Asset Management and related broker-dealer Bryan Funding.
Beaver County Solicitor Garen Fedeles in an email confirmed the fact-finding inquiry and said the county's $317 million pension fund "is not the target of the inquiry" by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Calls to Vescio Asset Management and Bryan Funding were not returned.
