University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, committed up to $5 million to Peppertree Capital Fund VII for its $472 million endowment pool, recently released investment subcommittee minutes said.
The subcommittee approved the commitment to the private equity fund managed by Peppertree Capital Management at its Aug. 7 meeting. Peppertree primarily invests in communication infrastructure companies.
University spokesman Jeffrey Wakefield could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
