Angela Summonte was named senior vice president and head of asset owner and official institutions sector solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa at State Street Corp.
Ms. Summonte is responsible for leading the sales strategy for the asset owner and official institutions sectors across the region. She will work with the solutions development team, and State Street's asset owner and official institutions sector solutions teams will report to her. A spokesman for State Street said Ms. Summonte replaces Oliver Berger, who now focused on a role in the Middle East.
She will be based in Frankfurt and report to Maria Cantillon, head of sector solutions for EMEA.
Ms. Summonte most recently held various sales roles in the banking, global custody and fund administration sectors at BNP Paribas Securities Services in Germany. A spokesman for BNP Paribas declined to comment.
