Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is searching for an investment consultant, said Roxanne L. Donovan, executive director for the $680 million pension fund.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law requiring contracts go out to rebid every few years. Segal Marco Advisors is the current investment consultant and is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available by contacting Ms. Donovan via email. Proposals are due by noon EST Nov. 6. A selection is expected to be made before the end of the year.
The system's allocation as of June 30 was 23.6% U.S. equities, 16% international equities, 9.8% emerging markets equities, 9% international fixed income, 8.1% U.S. fixed income, 7.3% real estate, 5.4% alternatives, 5.2% hedge funds, 4.9% private equity, 4.4% emerging markets fixed income, 4% global fixed income, 2.1% other equities and 0.2% cash.
