Mark Bennett was named director of sales at LifeSight, the £2 billion ($2.6 billion) multiemployer plan of Willis Towers Watson, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Bennett and his team focus on governance and participant engagement in efforts to solidify LifeSight's position in the U.K. master trust market.
"With client feedback revealing that our offering and focus on improving (participant) outcomes through tangible increased (participant) engagement is particularly strong, we're excited to be expanding our sales team in order to meet the demand from prospective clients, and bring our offering to even more organizations," said Fiona Matthews, managing director at LifeSight, in a news release.
Mr. Bennett joined from Legal & General Investment Management, where he worked as director within the workplace retirement team. Details of his replacement could not be immediately learned.
