Liisa Juntunen was named head of U.K. consultant relations at Quantitative Management Associates, said a spokeswoman.
The position is new, and Ms. Juntunen will be based in London, effective Oct. 1. She will lead work to expand the $127.6 billion quantitative equity and global multiasset manager's relationships with U.K. consultants. She joins as an employee of parent company PGIM but is wholly dedicated to QMA, said a news release.
Ms. Juntunen will report to John Gee-Grant, head of international distribution and global consultant relations.
"As we continue to expand globally, QMA's relationships and partnerships with investment consultants become ever more important," said Mr. Gee-Grant. "(Ms. Juntunen) brings broad market and investment knowledge, along with deep experience in understanding consultant and institutional client needs, particularly in the U.K."
Ms. Juntunen was head of the strategic client team at Legal & General Investment Management, said the release. A spokeswoman for LGIM said Ms. Juntunen was replaced with internal promotions — Amardeep Nagra and Jon Loach were named co-heads of strategic clients.
