Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association is looking to commit about $12 million to a North American small- and middle-market buyout private equity manager.
Only proposals from experienced managers of North American direct small- and middle-market buyout private equity strategies will be considered. First-time funds, funds of funds, public equity and single-sector-focused strategies will not be considered.

The RFP is available on Meketa's website. Proposals are due at noon EDT Oct. 9. A selection date was not disclosed.
Peter Manning, director of investments at the pension fund, and Colleen Smiley, a principal at Meketa, could not be immediately reached for further information.
