Philip Raciti was named managing principal, head of U.S. performing credit and a portfolio manager at Halcyon Capital Management.
The position is new, said a Halcyon spokesman. Mr. Raciti will oversee management of Halcyon's U.S. senior loan portfolios.
He will report to Jason Dillow, chief investment officer, vice chairman and head of credit; and Brian Yorke, portfolio manager and head trader.
Mr. Raciti was a senior managing director and portfolio manager at CVC Credit Partners. Officials at CVC Credit did not reply to a request for details on his replacement.
Halcyon has $10 billion in assets under management.
