Atlanta Regional Commission is searching for an investment consultant for its defined benefit plan and 403(b) and 457 plans, according to an RFP on the commission's website.
The regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency issued the RFP for a consultant to provide quarterly reports to the plans' board and monitor manager performance, as well as review the investment policy for the plans.
The plans have a combined $74 million in assets. The name of the current consultant and whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
According to the commission's most recent comprehensive annual financial report, the DB plan's target allocation as of Dec. 31 was 35% each absolute return and domestic large-cap equities, 20% domestic core and fixed-income investments, and 10% international equities.
The RFP is available on the commission's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 17. A selection is scheduled for Nov. 8, with a contract start date of Jan. 1, 2019.
