Logan Capital Management is hiring away the sovereign dividend performers portfolio management team from Manulife Asset Management, said Christopher M. Travers, Logan Capital spokesman.
The team, which manages the sovereign dividend performers strategy and the sovereign dividend performers balanced strategy, with a total of about $1.1 billion in assets under management, will join Logan Capital on Feb. 1, 2019.
It consists of Christopher P. O'Keefe, lead portfolio manager, and Wayne M. Breisch, Christopher P. Ouimet and Sarah J. Henry, portfolio managers/analysts. The strategies invest exclusively "in companies with increasing dividends, focus on growth of principal and yield and, more importantly, principal protection with the goal of providing above-average risk-adjusted returns," said Dana Stewardson, founding principal of Logan Capital, in a news release.
Logan Capital Management currently has about $1.4 billion in AUM in equity and fixed-income strategies.
