Wisconsin College Savings Program Board, Madison, hired Wilshire Associates as investment consultant for its two 529 plans, said John A. Dipko, spokesman for the state's department of administration, in an email.
The board, which oversees the Edvest and Tomorrow's Scholar programs that have $4.7 billion in total assets, issued the RFP in May for a firm to provide regular investment advisory services, including a review of investment benchmarks and performance related to those benchmarks. Other finalists were Cammack LaRhette Advisors and Marquette Associates. Whether incumbent consultant Callan rebid for the services could not be immediately learned.
Mr. Dipko could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
