Andrew Warwick-Thompson will step down as CEO of LGPS Central, Wolverhampton, England, next spring, the £40 billion ($52 billion) pool of local authority pension funds said in a statement on its website.
Mr. Warwick-Thompson has served as CEO since July 2017. Prior to his appointment at the pool, he worked as executive director for regulatory policy at the U.K. Pensions Regulator.
Mr. Warwick-Thompson's "contribution means that today the company is a fully functioning fund manager. In addition, he has recruited a talented team of professionals to the company's senior leadership team. As the company now enters its post-launch, business-as-usual, phase, (he) feels the time is right for someone else to take the helm," Joanne Segars, chairwoman of LGPS Central said in the statement.
