Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Toronto, promoted two executives to its investment executive team, said a news release issued by the C$193.9 billion ($148.6 billion) plan.
Gillian Brown was named senior managing director, capital markets, while Stephen McLennan was appointed senior managing director, total fund management. They will both report to Ziad Hindo, chief investment officer.
The release said Mr. McLennan's position is new. Mr. Hindo was senior managing director of capital markets before he was promoted to CIO in June.
Ms. Brown was managing director, insurance-linked, credit and equity products in capital markets. Mr. McLennan was head of natural resources.
