The position is new. Ms. Piputri focuses on an €11 billion ($12.8 billion) strategy that extracts behavioral premiums from financial markets by implementing data-driven factor and artificial intelligence techniques.
"(Ms. Piputri's) appointment emphasizes the focus we as money manager put on integrating data analysis and machine learning into our investment process to reap benefits of untapped sources of return. She is a well-rounded investment professional with extensive experience in money management and quantitative equity research and portfolio management that will make her a valuable addition to the organization," said Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, chief investment officer, in a news release.
