Gross’ unconstrained bond fund … strained

Morningstar data show the fund had estimated 802 mill in net outflows that Janus Henderson's Global Unconstrained Bond Fund saw about $802 million in net outflows this year through July 31. The fund, managed by William H. Gross, lost 6.86%* over that period, after annual gains of 5.26% and 2.43% in 2016 and 2017, respectively. 2018's outflows nearly wiped out net inflows during the past two years as investors fled the fund, which ranked at the bottom of its peer group.
