Kerim Kaskal was named acting chief investment officer of AP3, Stockholm, following the passing of former CIO Marten Lindeborg after a short illness, according to the Swedish pension fund's website.
Mr. Lindeborg joined the 338 billion Swedish kronor ($36.9 billion) pension fund in 2009 as head of asset management. He became CIO in 2015, following the departure of Mr. Kaskal, who then became a portfolio manager at Ambrosia Asset Management.
AP3 spokeswoman could not be reached immediately to provide information on the permanent replacement.
Ambrosia spokesman could not be reached by press time to comment about Mr. Kasal's replacement.
