Daniel Queenan has been promoted to global CEO, real estate investments, at CBRE, according to a news release.
He will oversee the firm's global investment management business, CBRE Global Investors, and development business, Trammell Crow Co., as part of a company reorganization effective Jan. 1.
Mr. Queenan is currently group president for CBRE's real estate investment businesses of CBRE Global Investors and Trammell Crow. He is also president of CBRE Global Investors. Jeremy Plummer, CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, was promoted to global chief investment officer of CBRE Global Investors and Sophie van Oosterom, CIO for EMEA, was named CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which is the largest business within CBRE Global Investors. She will remain EMEA CIO.
Under the new structure, the company will organize its operations around, and publicly report its financial results on, three global businesses: advisory services, global workplace solutions and real estate investments.
Jack Durburg, group president and CEO, the Americas, at CBRE has been promoted to the new position of global chief operating officer of CBRE. Steven Swerdlow, currently CEO for Asia-Pacific, will be promoted to group president, reporting to Mr. Durburg.
In January, CBRE will eliminate the CEO roles for the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.
