Marten Lindeborg, chief investment officer and deputy CEO of AP3, Stockholm, died following a short illness, the Swedish pension fund announced Thursday.
Mr. Lindeborg joined the 338 billion Swedish kronor ($29 billion) pension fund in 2009 as head of asset management. He became CIO in 2015, following the departure of Kerim Kaskal.
A spokeswoman could not be reached immediately for further information.
