Fresno County (Calif.) Employees' Retirement Association issued an RFP for a non-discretionary general investment consultant.
The search is being conducted because one "has not been done since 2008 and the board would like to make sure it is receiving the best service offerings available at current prices," said Donald Kendig, retirement administrator, in an email.
Verus Advisory is the current investment consultant to the $4.7 billion pension fund and has been invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the association's website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT Sept. 10. The board expects to select a finalist by Feb. 20.
