Duet Group added three executives to its private equity and real estate business, a spokeswoman said.
Fred Chima was named managing director. Mr. Chima sits on several portfolio company boards and focuses on growing Duet's private equity business.
Mr. Chima was previously senior executive at Singaporean investment company Temasek, leading the Africa and Middle East direct investment team. A spokesman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
Diamatho Doumbia was also named vice president starting Sept. 1. Ms. Doumbia will focus on North Africa starting Sept. 1. She previously worked at African investment company L.A.T. Cleveson. Details of her role there could not be learned.
Kwinten van Nes was also named an associate. Mr. van Nes supports the investment team across the investment cycle. He joined from The Abraaj Group, where he worked as an analyst focusing on health-care and consumer sectors.
"The firm continues to attract high-caliber talent as part of our expansion plan. Each of them have skill sets which fully complement the existing team," Henry Gabay, chief investment officer at Duet private equity and co-founder of Duet Group, said in a news release.
Duet Group declined to provide its assets under management.
